ATTENTION All Girl Scouts and Parents of Girl Scouts
Every year Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore recognizes outstanding leaders and volunteers within our community by awarding them such honors as an Outstanding Leader Award, Outstanding Volunteer Award, Appreciation Pin, Honor Pin and Thanks Badge.
How do you tell if your daughter’s leader is an Outstanding Leader?
- Does your daughter come home from meetings just ecstatic about what is happening in her troop?
- Is she growing and learning because of the leader’s skills and positive influence?
- Does she tell you how she “just can’t wait” for the next meeting?
If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, please call or e-mail me to find out how to nominate your daughter’s leader.
We also have many people who work hard for the success of the Rockford Service Unit and we need to show our appreciation for them in a concrete manner. If you know of a hard working volunteer and would like to see him / her recognized, please call me to find out how to nominate this person.
These awards will be given at the Council Recognition Ceremony and the Service Unit May banquet in the Spring.
