Our Rockford Girl Scout Christmas Tree for 2011, WON BEST OF SHOW at the Ford Museum Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony tonight!
Many thanks to all the girls who attended the tree lighting. It was nice to have a group of scouts go up and accept the award. And of course, a big thank you to all the troops and girls who contributed those handmade ornaments for the tree this year! It was evident that you all took time and effort to make your ornaments, and it was a wonderful display of Girl Scout Christmas spirit.
What a nice way start to the holiday season...
